About Me
I obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Community Counselling from Stellenbosch University and completed my clinical internship at Lentegeur Psychiatric Hospital. During my clinical training I provided therapeutic services to individual children and adults, couples and groups, in both in- and out patient settings. 
I also provided psychometric and neuropsychological assessment services to a variety of individuals. 

I completed my community service year within the Department of Correctional Services, where I provided therapeutic and assessment services to male adults.

I previously worked as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the Stellenbosch University centre for Student Counselling and Development, where I provide psychological services to registered students of the university.

I am a lecturer at Stellenbosch University and teach various modules on undergraduate and postgraduate level.  In addition I also  do individual clinical supervision for a student psychologist in training.  

I am also the Clinic Manager at the Welgevallen Community Psychology Clinic, of the Department of Psychology at Stellenbosch University. The clinic is the setting at which the Clinical Psychology masters students receive their clinical training. My primary role at the clinic is to monitor student case allocations and referrals, manage the day to day running of the clinic, assist in clinical emergencies and establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with community based organisation within the greater Stellenbosch area.
 

I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF).
